Know Your Rights: What to Do During an ICE Encounter

Immigrant communities across the country are facing increased fear and uncertainty around immigration enforcement. This Know Your Rights training, led by Citizen Academy, is designed to provide clear, accurate, and culturally responsive information about what to do — and what not to do — during an encounter with ICE.
The training breaks down complex legal concepts into plain language, helping participants understand their constitutional rights, how to respond safely during enforcement actions, and how to protect themselves and their families. Sessions are grounded in real-world scenarios and focus on practical steps people can take in moments of stress or confusion.
This training is suitable for community members, families, faith leaders, organizers, service providers, and advocates who want reliable information they can trust and share.
